Bill Stensrud, Principal
Bill Stensrud graduated from MIT in 1971 majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.He held a variety of technical, marketing and executive positions in the communications industry.He was a founder of StrataCom(acquired by Cisco), the CEO of Primary Access(acquired by 3Com) and an early investor and Director of Juniper Networks.He was a partner with a major venture capital firm in San Diego and ranked by Forbes Magazine as one of the top 25 â€œMovers and Shakersâ€ in the venture capital industry.Bill is now a private investor and mentor to entrepreneurs.
Bill has been a philanthropist and an active supporter of the arts for many years. He has served on the boards of Scripps Health, the Neurosciences Institute, the San Diego Telecom Council, the University of California at San Diego Foundation, the National Venture Capital Association. He is a past President of the San Diego Opera and is a passionate lover of classical music in all of its many forms.
Evan Schumacher, CEO
Evan Schumacher graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2003 with a B.S in Electrical Engineering and received his Masters in Electrical Engineering, with a focus in Computer Vision the following year. He co-founded Fortuna Classical Music which designed and built a media player specifically for classical music audiophiles. The technology born in that project formed the foundation for InstantEncore, which he co-founded in 2007.
David Dombrosky, CMO
David Dombrosky brings over eighteen years of experience in arts management and technology to his role as Chief Marketing Officer for InstantEncore. He frequently writes and presents on the uses of technology within arts organizations. Prior to joining the InstantEncore team, David established an arts and technology consultancy, taught graduate courses in arts management at Carnegie Mellon University, directed Carnegie Mellon's Center for Arts Management and Technology, and spent eight years at South Arts designing and managing regional and national programs in the visual, performing, media and literary arts.
